How long will it take to get my website online?
That will depend on your needs, your budget and your availability. We will work together to develop your project’s timeline and we will have to take into account your schedule, my schedule, the holidays, family obligations and the time needed to get all of this done as well as all of your other work. On average I find that a project realistically can take anywhere from 2 – 3 months, depending on the project.
I already have a website, can I transfer it?
In most cases you can transfer your website to another web host. Most likely you already have your web address (aka a domain) registered with one company and your hosting is with another. It usually requires a small fee around $12 to $15 and approximately 5 – 7 business days to transfer a domain name to another web host but this varies from case to case.
What are the benefits of a custom website?

Can I sell online using my website?
Yes, we can set-up your website to receive payments and even design a complete e-commerce site.
E-commerce sites will require careful planning & coordination, depending on what your needs are and will most likely require a custom package. You can learn more about custom packages here.
Can I upgrade my website when my business grows?
Absolutely. Your site will be structured using “modules” so you can add or take away from it – based on what your needs are now and in the future.
How do I choose a package and what’s included?
In the past, I have discovered that no two projects are alike. My clients typically have very specific goals that require a custom solution. Which package will work best for you will vary based on where you are in your business right now. Take a moment to review the services page to see the details of each package.
How much will this cost & how will I be billed for it?
The cost will vary depending upon which package you choose. My packages start at $US 1,000.00 for a basic Installation Package. Once a contract is signed, you will be sent a deposit invoice for 25% of the total contract (Installation Packages require a 50% deposit). You will then be billed on a monthly basis. Most of my projects have a 3-4 month billing cycle and the net terms are usually 30 days – with a few exceptions, the final payment is due upon receipt. I accept payments via check, Chase Quick Pay or credit card.
Do you design custom email templates, microsites, social media, event or landing pages?
Yes, custom email templates & certain social media pages are included in the Core & Premium packages. There are no custom social media pages in the Installation Package. I work with the following social media platforms: Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Yelp, Tumblr & Pinterest.
I charge a separate fee for any custom work that is not included in the packages including microsites, event & landing pages.
I know which package I want. What do I need to get started?
Once you know which package is right for you, please email me with your name, number, the name of the package you would like and your website address, if you have one. I will email or call you back, within 24 – 48 hours and we can then set up a time to schedule a call to discuss your needs further.
Will I be able to update my website whenever and wherever I want without extra cost?
Yes, I build most of my client’s sites within a CMS (Content Management System). I customize the site and the back-end, giving you the exact tools that you need for your business.
I also give you step-by-step video instruction for all of your products and for your new custom website, so you or someone on your team can maintain the site on your own. You can learn more about this here.
Do you offer additional services or custom packages?
Yes, certain upgrades are already built-in but if you for example decide you would like to add a portfolio or a online shop to your site, that would be an additional service and would require another service agreement.
We would have to set-up another call so I could get a sense of what the “scope of work” would entail and then give you a complete estimate.
