Why Your Instagram Feed Needs Social Blade

Hey there! I don’t want to take up too much of your time, so I’m going to keep it short this week. If you’re like me, blocking out time to generate content for your social media feeds can be daunting at times.

How many times have you wondered if all of that stuff is even working or better yet how you’re sizing up next to your competitors? If Twitter, Instagram or YouTube play a big part in your social media strategy – you may want to take a gander at Social Blade.

This site and app are great for getting up-to-date and quick stats of your how your social feeds are doing and they even give you a glimpse into how fast or how slow your following is growing with their “future projections” feature.

This a great feature because you can get a sense of whether or not some of your competitors or partners have any real influence on these channels, by letting you compare your stats against theirs.

They also have some more advanced features like “Live Counts” for those of you who want to see if your live events are generating any realtime buzz. You can read more about that here —> Introducing: Instagram, Twitter, and Twitch Live Counts!

They also offer consulting services for YouTube and have a fair amount of tutorials on their own YouTube channel as well as a pretty insightful blog.

Now if you need a little help with your Instagram game I’ve got something for you. Her name is Alex Tooby.

Alex is a Canadian based graphic designer whose claim to fame is an Instagram account called “Men and Coffee”. She managed to take this very niche account and grow it up to over 10,000 followers in just 3 months and after only 2 years, it’s almost up to 400K.

The account grew so fast it got the attention of Cosmo Magazine, Business Insider, Time and MTV. She also hosts a Facebook Group called Instagram Marketing Mastermind and she offers a free e-course to help you get your feet wet if your new to Instagram.

You can learn more about Alex on her website, but you can also get some great tips via her Instagram feed @instawithalex.

Whew! That’s enough from me for today, but I would love to hear from you!
